OCEAN CITY SCHOOL BOARD GETS NEW MEMBER

Ocean City resident Gregory Whelan has joined his community’s school board.  Whelan was selected from five applications to take over the unexpired term of Pete Madden, who left the board to take his elected position on the Ocean City Council.  Whelan is 51 years old and is a 1981 graduate of Ocean City High School.  Whelan will serve on the board until January, 2016.
