OCEAN CITY MOM, DAUGHTER CHARGED WITH PASSING FAKE MONEY

A mother and daughter from Ocean City have both been arrested on charges that they were trying to pass counterfeit money at a drugstore in Hammonton.  The Press of Atlantic City reports that 52 year old Rhonda Fardone and her daughter, 34 year old Michelle Bacon, were charged after attempting to purchase gift cards at a Rite Aid store with phony 20 dollar bills.  Hammonton police found their vehicle at a nearby Walmart, and police say the two women tried to hide the money when police approached.  Both were charged with multiple counts of criminal attempt, conspiracy, and other offenses.
