OCEAN CITY LIFE SAVING STATION GETTING MAKE-OVER

Phase one of the exterior restoration project to the historic Ocean City Life Saving Station 30 will begin next week. The Ocean City Gazette reports that the city purchased the building, built in 1885, to save it from demolition. The rehab will also be paid for by the city, while the board of directors of the historic building promises to pay pack the cost through donations and grants.
