OCEAN CITY FIRE CHIEF RETIRES NOV 1ST, REPLACEMENT TO BE NAMED

Ocean City’s Fire Department chief is set to retire on Nov. 1st and the city has not yet named his replacement. The Press of Atlantic City says city officials expect to name a new chief by next week. Chief Chris Breunig became chief of the department in 2012 and currently oversees 58 full-time employees and three firehouses, with an annual budget of $7.2 million.
