NUMBER OF ATLANTIC CITY BILLS PASSED, SOME HELD

A number of bills aimed at improving Atlantic City were passed in the Senate on Monday. The measures including Internet gaming and the creation of “boutique casinos.” A bill that would put the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority in charge of a tourism district in Atlantic City was held for amendments to be made. State Senator Jeff Van Drew told Coastal Broadcasting he was in favor of these bills and said he thought it made Atlantic City more competitive.
