NORTH WILDWOOD: TWO NEWCOMERS TO COUNCIL

Two newcomers have joined the North Wildwood city council.  In a big win for the local republican party, Sal Zampirri upset longtime democratic councilman Joseph Duncan in the 2nd Ward, 344-335.  The race went down to the absentee ballots, where Zampirri was able to keep his lead.  In the First Ward, Peg Bishop was the winner, getting 387 votes.  She will replace Robert Maschio on the city council, who failed to get the GOP endorsement.
