NORTH WILDWOOD COUNCILMAN ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT

Councilman Robert “Bob” McCullion, who served as a City Councilman in North Wildwood for 24 years, will not seek reelection in 2011.  McCullion, who also served as City Council President for 12 years, stated that he felt he had contributed a lot to the City over his time in office and it was time to let someone new serve.

“I intend to work diligently for the remainder of my term and will continue to serve the residents of North Wildwood in my capacity as a volunteer firefighter,” said McCullion.

North Wildwood City Council President and Republican Municipal Chairman Patrick Rosenello commented: “Bob has been an integral part of the administration of the City of North Wildwood for a generation.  His service and dedication are without peer and his insight and wisdom will be missed.”

The North Wildwood Republican Organization is accepting Letters of Intent from residents interested in securing the Republican Nomination for three City Council Seats that are up for election this year.

The offices of Council-at-Large, First Ward City Council and Second Ward City Council are up for election in 2011.  Incumbent Councilman-At-Large Ed Koehler and Incumbent Second Ward Councilwoman Kellyann Tolomeo have both submitted letters seeking the endorsement of the North Wildwood GOP for their respective seats.
