North Wildwood has begun the process of moving sand from the Wildwood beaches to local beaches where nourishment is needed. City officials say that some beaches will be intermittently closed to the public from 2nd Street south to 26th Street as the sand project occurs. All work will be finished before Memorial Day weekend.
