NO VERDICT YET IN ROBERT DAVIES MURDER CASE

The jury reached no verdict Tuesday afternoon in the Robert Davies murder case. Davies is the 49 year old North Wildwood man who’s accused of killing tourist Lavern Paul Ritch in Margate in August, 2007. Closing arguments in the case were held on Tuesday morning, and the jury began deliberations during the afternoon hours. The jury is expected back in court on Wednesday morning to continue deliberating Davies’ fate. Davies admits that he plunged a knife into the chest of Ritch three and a half years ago, but continues to maintain it was in self defense.
