NO TRAFFIC DEATHS IN SOUTH JERSEY OVER HOLIDAY WEEKEND

State Police say there were six traffic related deaths this past weekend, but none of them were in South Jersey. Early reporting shows that six people died in five crashes between Wednesday, November 27 at 6:00 p.m. and Monday, December 2 at 6:00 a.m. The crashes were in Morris, Middlesex and Essex counties. Last year’s Thanksgiving travel period saw 10 deaths in eight crashes with four of those fatalities being pedestrians and alcohol and/or drugs playing a part in six deaths.
