NO NEW TRIAL FOR ROMEO, REQUEST DENIED IN COURT

An appeal for a new trial for a Wildwood Police officer convicted of official misconduct has been denied. David Romeo was convicted for the charge after kicking handcuffed suspects in the head. On Friday, an appeal was made for a new trial based on a video the defense did not believe should have been introduced into the case, according to a report in the Press of Atlantic City. Romeo claimed he kicked the suspects in the head because he saw a weapon laying near them
