NO INDICTMENT IN CONNECTION WITH DEATH OF MAN IN POLICE CUSTODY ON EXPRESSWAY

No indictments are forthcoming against New Jersey State Police in connection with the death of 39 year old Marshall Zamor, who died while in police custody following a drug arrest on the Atlantic City Expressway.  New Jersey Attorney General Christopher Porrino announced that Zamor’s autopsy showed that he had a plastic bag stuck in his trachea, which was crack cocaine that he attempted to swallow during his arrest.
