98.7 The Coast Gas Prices

NO GAS TAX INCREASE MEANS FUEL PRICES ARE STILL LOW

Fuel prices continue to be priced well better than last year thanks to state lawmakers not being able to make a deal on a gas tax increase. AAA Mid-Atlantic reports current local gas prices at $2.06 per gallon, which is about 50 cents better than one year ago. Many local stations have regular gas prices below $2 a gallon in the height of the summer driving season. Tourist destinations locally are excited because low gas prices encourages day trippers and visitors to come down the shore for very little gas money.
