NJSIAA TRIES TO SAVE ITSELF, VOWS REFORMS

NJSIAA_logoThe New Jersey Sports Interscholastic Athletic Association adopted 10 reforms on Wednesday, as it tried to avoid dissolution. A state investigation recently found the organization had poor financial oversight and wasteful spending. Legislation had been introduced in the legislature to end the NJSIAA and move its powers under the New Jersey School Boards Association. The reforms include hiring an outside monitor for financial control, and implementing better detailed policies to control and monitor spending.
