NJSIAA: SPRING SPORTS STILL POSSIBLE, BUT TOURNAMENT PLAY IS VERY UNLIKELY

The organization that runs high school sports in New Jersey says it’s still possible spring sports can happen, but if they do, it will likely be without tournaments.  The NJSIAA issued a statement Thursday following Governor Phil Murphy’s decision to keep schools closed until at least May 15th.  The Association says it has a model where sports could begin May 25th, but any tournament play is unlikely.
