NJDEP ALLOWING FOR MORE CONSTRUCTION AT THE SHORE

njdep_bob_martinState regulators will soon make it easier for development to occur at the Jersey Shore following Hurricane Sandy.  New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection Commissioner Robert Martin announced on Tuesday that coastal protection rules are being relaxed in order to speed up development along the shore.  Various regulations are being streamlined, and red tape will be cut.  Martin promises to continue environmental protection even though development can be easier along the coast.
