NJ UNEMPLOYMENT RATE STILL HIGHER THAN NATIONAL AVERAGE

New Jersey’s unemployment rate stands at 4.2 percent, higher than the national average.  The State added 1,600 jobs in August but not good enough to bring the rate below four percent.
