NJ TRANSIT TRAINS BACK ON TRACK IN HOBOKEN

New Jersey Transit announced that rail service at the Hoboken Terminal resumed on Monday. Eight of the 17 tracks reopened while repair work continues on the other nine. The terminal was the site of a crash that killed one woman and injured over 100 commuters on Sept. 29th when a train entering the station did not stop and crashed through a bumper at the end of the track. As a result, NJ Transit has implemented a policy that the conductor must be present with the engineer whenever a train pulls into the terminal at the end of the line.
