NJ LAWMAKER WANTS NO TACKLE FOOTBALL FOR YOUNG CHILDREN

A veteran New Jersey lawmaker is calling for the elimination of tackle football in the Garden State for children under the age of 12.  Assemblywoman Valerie Vainieri Huttle has introduced a bill that would eliminate tackle football for young kids due to various head and other injuries that may occur.  Senate President Steve Sweeney says he’s completely opposed to the bill.
