NJ DEMS INTRODUCE BILL TO INCREASE MINIMUM WAGE TO $15/HOUR

A bill that would increase the minimum wage in New Jersey to $15 an hour has been introduced by democratic lawmakers in Trenton today.  The bill would gradually increase the minimum wage to that level over a period of five years, ending in 2024.  However, teenage workers and seasonal workers at the shore and other areas would not see the higher wage until 2029.
