NJ DEMOCRATS FAIL TO OVERRIDE CHRISTIE VETOES

New Jersey Senate democrats were unable to override a package of five bills that were vetoed by Governor Chris Christie that some say would have created jobs in the Garden State.  Christie vetoed the bills, saying the state could not afford the $600 million price tag associated with the new legislation.  Senate President Steve Sweeney promised an override vote, but that vote failed on Thursday.  Sweeney says republicans have no voice in the legislature; their only voice is that of the governor.
