NEW UNION DEAL TO BOOST SALARIES FOR STATE EMPLOYEES

The state’s largest public employees union and the Murphy administration has reached a new contract agreement that will bring pay hikes, and retroactive pay, to thousands of state workers.  The new deal between the state and the Communications Workers of America union is being ironed out; employees in the union have been working without a new deal for three years.
