NEW REPORT: CRDA MAY RUN AC TOURISM

120px-Seal_of_New_Jersey_svgThe Atlantic City tourism district may be run by a group from within Atlantic City. A new report in the Press of Atlantic City suggests that the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority could be in charge of running the district, according to Assemblyman John Amodeo. The report says Christie has agreed to “75 to 80 percent” of a bill that would put the CRDA in charge. The bill also includes a joint police force between state and local police that would be designated for this tourism area only.
