NEW POLL: RICH SHOULD BE TAXED MORE, BUT NOT DRIVERS

New data says that state residents support taxing millionaires but don’t want a higher gas tax. The Fairleigh Dickinson University’s PublicMind poll says that 72 percent oppose hiking the gas tax in the state but 63 percent say that millionaire’s should be taxed more. Discussion is on-going in Trenton to up the gas tax to pay for transportation projects. New Jersey has among the lowest gas taxes int he state.
