NEW PILOT PROGRAM ALLOWS COLLEGE CREDITS FOR WORK HISTORY

New Jersey is trying out a new program that would allow students to trade in work experience for college credits. The pilot program is called the New Jersey Prior Learning Assessment Network. Among the schools that will use this initial program is Rowan University. Supporters say it will cut down on the time and cost to get a degree.
