NEW JERSEY’S SNOW MEANS LESS TOLL REVENUE

Over $10.5 million..that’s how much money the five snowstorms in January and February cost the state in toll revenues on the Garden State Parkway and New Jersey Turnpike.   New figures released shows that fewer drivers hit the road during these storms and toll revenues plummeted as a result.  Even before Tuesday’s storm, the state spent $39 million in snow removal costs during the winter.
