NEW JERSEY WILL ONCE AGAIN SEEK TO “RACE TO THE TOP”

120px-Seal_of_New_Jersey_svgA third competition is on-going to win a share of $200 million in “Race to the Top” funding. The last round had New Jersey miss out by mere points that could have been corrected by simply filling out the application properly. A presentation of incorrect information cost the state and ultimately former education commissioner Bret Schundler. New Jersey would win $50 million if it is among the top four states out of nine.
