NEW JERSEY TRANSIT TRIES TO FIX BUDGET BY LEASING OFF PARKING LOTS

300px-New_Jersey_Transit_logoThe state’s major public transportation agency is moving forward with a plan to privatize parking lots. NJ Transit hopes the move could bring $100 million into the agency. A group of seven companies are going to bid for the services in March. Some riders are concerned that a private company w ill want to make back their investment by raising the parking fees.
