NEW JERSEY POLICE CHIEF CHARGED WITH PROVIDING POLICE ESCORTS FOR HIS FUNERAL HOME

A longtime North Jersey police chief has been charged with directing officers to provide police escorts for a funeral home that he owns.  State officials announced that charges were brought against Robert Kugler, the police chief in Saddle Brook.  Kugler was charged with official misconduct and other offenses.
