NEW JERSEY HITS $3 AVERAGE FOR GAS

220px-AAA_logo_svgGas prices continue to rise and hit a big milestone on Tuesday. Gas now costs $3 a gallon on average in the state, according to the latest price survey by AAA-Mid Atlantic. The price is 47 cents higher than one year ago and nine cents more than last month. New Jersey is still pacing better than the national average, which is $3.07. Cape May County remains one cent below the state average.
