The New Jersey Coalition of Automotive Retailers released some positive economic news for auto sales in the state. According to their report, New Jersey car dealers had their best year since 2007, with an eight per cent increase over 2010. Prior to the recession, car and light truck sales ran at about half a million annually. In 2010, dealers sold about 430,000 vehicles, the highest total in four years.
