New Jersey drivers have experienced a staggering 1.4 million motor vehicle accidents over the past decade due to distracted driving. Those figures were released by New Jersey Acting Attorney General John Hoffman, who says the state has experienced a so called “distracted driving decade”. Law enforcement authorities statewide are currently enforcing the state’s cell phone and electronic device violations; the crackdown ends the day after Easter.
