NEW GUN CONTROL LAWS CLEAR SENATE COMMITTEE

Some brand new gun control laws have cleared a key Senate committee in Trenton.  Democrats largely passed through seven new gun control measures in the Senate Law and Public Safety Committee.  Opposition was intense from gun rights advocates who shouted down supporters of the new gun laws.  One bill would encode the purchase of firearms onto New Jersey drivers’ licenses.
