NEW FLASHING LIGHT TURNED ON IN WOODBINE

Freeholder Director Dan Beyel and Woodbine Mayor William Pikolycky flipped the switch Friday, activating a flashing beacon in a busy intersection in the Borough of Woodbine.  For safety reasons, County crews constructed an over-the-road flashing beacon at the intersection of Washington Avenue (CR557) and Woodbine-Ocean View Road (CR550) in the Borough of Woodbine.  The total cost of installing the flashing beacon was approximately $36,000.
