NEW DATA SAYS MORE HOMELESS IN NEW JERSEY

Recent years have created a higher amount of homeless in New Jersey. The Star-Ledger has a story that says the homeless population has increased by 6.6 percent over the past two years. In total, the New Jersey Corporation for Supportive Housing, says that there are 12,825 homeless in the Garden State. Essex County featured the highest amount of homeless with just over 1,000.
