NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SUNDAY 5PM UPDATE ON HERMINE

The National Weather Service reports that Hermine’s track continues to push slightly to the east. This will allow for a further downward trend in the higher than normal tidal predictions. Monday morning and Monday evening’s high tides should be the most problematic. Moderate flooding is expected with Monday’s high tide cycles and minor to possibly moderate on Tuesday morning. With Hermine sitting slightly further east, the tropical storm force sustained winds look more likely to remain offshore. However, wind gusts up to 45 mph are expected, mainly along the coast.
