NASTY STORM KNOCKED OUT POWER IN BRIDGETON

Up to two inches of hail landed in Bridgeton and mixed with lightening, knocked out power to thousands of customers. Power outages took place from Cumberland to Camden counties. The hail was spotted in Dennis Township as well. Atlantic City Electric was out working to fix the power problems. Trees, branches, and electric wires were all reported down in different areas. At the height of the storm on Friday night, more than 5,000 customers were without power.
