MURPHY’S BUDGET PUTS NEARLY A QUARTER BILLION DOLLARS INTO TRANSIT

Governor Phil Murphy’s first state budget puts $242 million in additional funding into New Jersey Transit.  Murphy outlined the increase to NJT during his first budget address on Tuesday.  Funding for the transportation agency will be tripled.
