MURPHY TO ANNOUNCE CUTS TO HEALTH CARE SPENDING TO HELP BALANCE BUDGET

Governor Phil Murphy is expected to showcase a new state budget on Tuesday that will hike taxes on the wealthy, and cut health care expenditures for state workers.  The new spending plan is expected to slice $1 billion in spending from the budget.  Democrats in Trenton have asked their party’s governor to reduce spending in 2019.
