MURPHY: STATE MAY HAVE TO BORROW “BILLIONS” TO STAY AFLOAT THANKS TO CORONAVIRUS

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy says the state may have to borrow “billions of dollars” in order to meet its obligations this year.  Murphy confirmed Thursday that as much as $9 billion may have to be borrowed from the Federal Reserve this year.  Murphy says New Jersey will have “serious cash flow challenges”.
