MURPHY SIGNS NEW BUDGET THAT CUTS MONEY FROM PROGRAMS

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy signed a new extension to the state budget today that slashes money from various programs.  Murphy says the new extension totals $7.6 billion and is necessary due to the fiscal year being extended.  Non-salary operating expenses are being cut by five percent across the board.
