MURPHY: SCHIANO NEEDS HUGE SALARY TO COMPETE IN BIG TEN

Governor Phil Murphy is defending the decision by Rutgers University to spend $4 million a year on new football coach Greg Schiano.  Murphy says the state had to make a “resource commitment” in order to compete in the Big Ten, which includes football schools including Penn State, Ohio State, and Michigan.
