MURPHY: NO GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN OVER BUDGET STALEMATE

There will be no government shutdown in New Jersey over a budget stalemate.  Governor Murphy announced Thursday that he will sign a state budget on Sunday, and government will remain open.  However, Murphy is expected to cut significant funding from the budget since the legislature has not agreed to a millionaires’ tax.
