MURPHY MAY NOT SIGN BILL THAT RELINQUISHES CONTROL OF COPS’ PENSION

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy may not sign a bill into law that would relinquish control of police and fire pensions to its members.  State lawmakers from Murphy’s party passed bills to support the transfer on Monday, but Murphy is unsure of the impact it would have on the overall state pension program.
