MURPHY KILLS PLASTIC BAG BILL IN NEW JERSEY

Governor Phil Murphy has killed off his idea to tax every plastic bag used in the Garden State.  The plan was met with strong opposition from environmental groups who thought the Murphy plan did nothing for the environment and was a cash grab.  Local towns like Avalon and Stone Harbor plan to ban the use of plastic bags and other items next summer.
