MURPHY BEGS FOR VOTES TO APPROVE LEGAL POT ON MONDAY

Governor Phil Murphy has made a public plea to state lawmakers to approve legislation Monday that would legalize recreational marijuana.  Murphy went so far as to say that an affirmative vote will be a civil rights victory to blacks and Latinos who have been unjustly targeted during the war on illegal drugs.  He also says a “yes” vote would protect “our kids”.
