MORE TIME GIVEN TO CASINO GROUP TO SELL OFF BORGATA SHARE

An additional 18 months has been given to sell off part of the Borgata in Atlantic City. MGM Resorts was ordered out of the state by the Division of Gaming Enforcement for a business partner that has connections to organized crime in Asia. The new deadline is going to be March, 2013. MGM owns a 50 percent stake in the casino. The other 50 percent in the casino will remain under the ownership of Boyd Gaming Corp. MGM says it has been unable to obtain a buyer at this time.
