MORE THAN 600 PEOPLE PERISH ON NJ ROADWAYS IN ’11

The final statistics are grim to say the least.  New Jersey State Police say there were 594 fatal motor vehicle accidents in the Garden State in 2011, resulting in 635 deaths.  The new statistics also show that the majority of those who died were behind the wheel of the vehicle at the time of the accident.  The most fatal accidents took place in Middlesex County while the highest number of passenger deaths occurred in Atlantic County.
