MORE INFORMATION RELEASED ABOUT WOMAN WHO DIED IN CUSTODY IN WILDWOOD

The Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office has released more information about a 60 year old woman who died five days after being in the custody of Wildwood Police.  Margarita Candelaria-Betancourt received medical attention while in custody on a drug offense, and died five days later at Cooper Hospital in Camden.  The cause of death remains “pending”.
