MORE DOLPHIN DEATHS PREDICTED

Scientists expect the number of dead dolphins along the East Coast to continue to rise. Officials at the Marine Mammal Stranding Center believe that the current virus outbreak could kill more dolphins than the outbreak of 1987 , which killed 93 dolphins in New Jersey. So far 83 dolphins have been stranded since July 1st and 430 have died from North Carolina to New York according to statistics from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
